The new anime Sengoku Otome Momoiro Paradox is based on Heiwa’s Sengoku Otome pachinko game. The very cute lead girl Hideyoshi, voiced by Hidaka Rina, is a normal modern middle-schoolgirl. However, she is one day transported to a world very similar to feudal Japan, with the exception that there are no men! There, she meets Oda Nobunaga whose ambition it is to unite all the land under her rule and gather together the Legendary Crimson Armor.
Despite the semi-seriousness of the premise, the daily interactions of the characters are funny, cute, and laced with occasional yuri undertones. All the characters have their charm but Hideyoshi steals just about every scene she inhabits.
